Water Soluble CoQ10 / Ubiquinol
Zymes and Kaneka Nutrients have partnered for the co-development and co-marketing of water-soluble Kaneka QH (Ubiquinol) http://www.kanekaqh.com and Kaneka CoQ10 http://www.kanekaq10.com combinations using Zymes’ PTS. Under the agreement, Zymes and Kaneka will co-market the water-soluble liquid and powder formulations for use in food, beverages and dietary supplements. Both formulations will be sold directly to food and beverage companies based on per kilo pricing. Zymes’ Ubisol-Aqua™ technology, PTS, uses nanotechnology and complexation to formulate and improve the solubility of water-insoluble Ubiquinol and CoQ10. Zymes’ PTS delivers shelf-stable GRAS-affirmed Kaneka QH and Kaneka CoQ10 for use in liquid and powder formulations. The technology provides for reduced particle size averaging 25 nanometers, thus providing solutions for clear beverage applications. Deliver forms include both liquid and dry powder formulations. Stability and product application testing has been successful and will continue under the agreement.
